.Clay Adams Triac Centrifuge / Microhematocrit, Cat. # 0200 SN: 129301. This was bought new in late 1982 and has possibly a total of 1 hour usage time. There has never been a tube broken while in spin. The Head Cover is lost, used to cover microhematocrit tubes to contain breakage. I did use it without the Head Cover with quality tubes a few times. Used Head Covers are available and can be found at biomedical used supply companies as this: Ozark Biomedical. The Head Cover catalogue number from the Clay Adams website is 421280, & Ref# 42020021. There is one of the original 8 graduated tubes missing. Includes the Spanner Wrench and 4 matched Trunnions. No scratches or blemishes, spotless. Priced accordingly, this unit is like new.
IEC International Micro-Capillary Reader, this used item determines the percent of red blood cells from a centrifuged sample. Clean, includes Labcraft Capillary Tubes and Crit Seal (crit seal has begun to harden and should be replaced). Note: This is not a required item for use with the Triac above (Triac includes the readable scale).
ATAGO Urine Specific Gravity Clinical Refractometer "Uricon-N". Urine S.G. scale: 1.000 to 1.050, Refractive index scale (ND): 1.333 to 1.355. I was unable to find the owners manual, the linked PDF above shows a Uricon-Ne (Not the Uricon-N), I don't know the difference, one probably newer than the other. You would have to contact the company for more specifics. This unit was previously used in a Reference Laboratory for clinical human patient urinalysis with Cal checks using dH2O at RT. In excellent condition. Here is a demonstration on the same calibration procedure as used for this model ATAGO: CALIBRATION.

A "giant" human brain model in excellent condition, measuring ~14 x 12 x 12" is dissectible into 14 parts. The size is a huge advantage to learning the brain, nuclei, tracts, etc., this fact can not be understated. I found it useful to use red pipe cleaners to construct the arterial system (I no longer have that) and overlay regions with those, great learning method. This item never came with a manual, and I have carefully/tastefully drawn/labeled a few of the basal nuclei/structures in place with a fine point sharpie, I believe it would be a good learning experience to continue this path. I bought this a few years back and can't find the manufactures name or exact model "on line" but here is a remarkably similar (seems they added a pituitary gland and changed the overall grey to a pinkish color) item if not the newer version of this model, see: Brain Model.

Opening a new clinic without a name yet? Here is a great name ready to go on sandblasted redwood and all hand painted by the artist Bob Larsen of Brite Signs from Missoula, MT. Just add your style of post or column to the sides of the sign. Measures ~ 48 x 36 x 1.5". These were very "high end" signs in the day, not sure if redwood is obtainable today.
